Day 1 Arrival Ende

Ende is the capital of Flores, located between volcanoes. Visit evening certainly here the night.

Day 2 Ende - Moni

Have a beautiful ride for today as on the way you can enjoy beautiful views of green hills and sea. Also come across small villages where the children will enthusiastically wave to you. Once you arrived in Moni, take a walk around the area is a nice option

Day 3 Moni - Riung

Early in the morning you will leave Moni with a guide to the famous Kelimutu volcano. Make sure you’ll be on time for the breathtaking sunrise. Be ready with the jacket because it can be quite cold here!

You will clearly notice the three different colors of the lakes; Black, turquoise and dark brown. Nobody can explain why the lakes change color every time. The locals believe that the souls of the deceased rest in these lakes; old people in the black lake, the turquoise is more for youngsters and the dark brown for the bad guys. After visiting the Kelimutu volcano, drive through a beautiful deep valley to Riung, located on the north coast of Flores. Riung is a small and friendly fishing village, where few tourists come.

Day 4 Riung/ boat trip

Today you will be enjoying a beautiful boat trip to some island of the national park, located on the coast of Riung. There are 17 exotic islands, known for corals, fish and thousands of bats. You can see these bats very close, after which you can snorkel on one of the islands. The underwater world is really beautiful here. The cook goes along to make a delicious fish barbecue for you.

Day 5 Riung- Bajawa

Today you are leaving for Riung to Bajawa, located at 1200m altitude, surrounded by volcanoes. Take something warm, because the nights can be very cold!

Day 6 Bajawa

The surroundings of Bajawa are very traditional and suitable for a walks. Drive to Bena Village, where you can easily walk to a traditional village. The people here are so friendly and will probably invite you to see such house from within. Then we drive to Soa, a natural hot spring water. The water here is heated by a volcano near the area. Great to take a hot bath again! After Soa, return to the hotel in Bajawa.

Day 7 Bajawa- Ruteng

Another fun trip for today from Bajawa to Ruteng, a small market town and center of the Manggarai tribe. Enjoy the scenery along the way such as breathtaking views of the sea, many volcanoes and whistled lava flows. You will see how to make “arak’ here, a local gin..

Day 8 Ruteng- Lubuan Bajo

Once again a beautiful route through the Manggarai area, one of the most fertile parts of Flores where a lot of rice is being cultivated. There are a number of round rice fields that are classified according to ancient traditions. When looking down from above, the fields just look like a huge spider web. Labuan Bajo has a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. There is a nice local market nearby. By the end of the afternoon you can enjoy the beautiful sunset over the bay!

Day 9 Lubuan Bajo - Rinca and Komodo

A unique boat trip with a private boat to one of Indonesia's most beautiful areas. During the way, the boat will stop regularly for snorkeling and discover the beautiful underwater world! The first island you are doing is Rinca. Also on Rinca lives the impressive Komodo varieties. Rinca is the most interesting island to spot these giant beasts as they are seen here on a walk more often, as well as beautiful views on the way.

The Komodo dragon is a huge reptile, which can be 3 meters long. It feeds with birds, swine, deer and small mammals. They are good swimmers and can be unexpectedly very fast. It is absolutely mandatory to get along with a ranger and you should definitely not take on your own initiative. If you have enough time to go to Komodo Island, you will spend the night on the Rinca coast. You will spend an overnight on the boat. Don’t worry. The boat is private so you have no other company on the boat. The snorkeling gear is included, check the sizes that are present! All meals are included.

Day 10 Komodo- Lubuan Bajo

Today you can take a walk on Komodo, of course again, under the guidance of a ranger. After this walk, you can go to the Pink Beach to snorkel. Then you return to your hotel in Labuan Bajo.

Day 11 Lubuan Bajo

A free day to do your own adventure with the trip.
